Fractional reserve banking means banks hold only a specific percentage of their deposits in liquid reserves and are allowed to use the remaining to extend credit.<\/p>\n<p>JPMorgan didn\u2019t immediately return Benzinga\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n<p><figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Jamie Dimon claims crypto companies that offer interest-bearing products should be subject to same capital and compliance requirements imposed on banks.
